I'm a slacker...

So it's certainly been awhile!  I've been slacking in blogging.  Recently, I've been busy designing things for the dance recital- scenery, t-shirts, tickets, you name it!

Last night Mike was doing some photo editing so I thought I'd join in the fun.  I like his better, but, I will share a few of mine.

I might play around with a few more eventually.  If anything fun comes about, I will be sure to post!
Also- I will hopefully get to update some recipes on my other blog very soon!  Right now, with my wisdom teeth just being removed, I'm kind of lacking the ability to make/eat anything very yummy :(

Day 8 - A picture that makes you laugh.

Okay, so when I think of a picture that makes me laugh...two originally came to mind...and then I thought of a third.  I will start with the third and go backwards. 

I actually took this picture yesterday of Tucker...he was excited and jumped on the bed in my room at my mom's house.  I forgot the flash was turned on in m iPhone..so Tucker of course looks like a Demon Puppy or..well..a Puppy with Lasers for eyes! ha. :)

The next picture was from my Uncle's wedding...we were having a good time and Mike decided it was appropriate to eat M & M's...thus turning him into a .... zombie? lol

And last but not least, the first picture I thought of that made me laugh is from 2007...on a camping trip that I went on with my grandpa, my brother, his friend William and my mom...Mom found Cody's old river t-shirt and his floatie...so Cody decided dit would be a good idea to model them for everyone...

So there it is...a few pictures that make me laugh :)  Stay tuned for the Spring Break adventures that are about to take place at my house this week...lol

Day 7 - A Picture of your most treasured item...

So it's certainly been awhile since my last blog...an update was in order.  We will start with continuing the 30 day photo challenge...

My most treasured item...that's a very tough one...There are a huge amount of things that I love and am having a hard time deciding between.  But, I am going to go ahead and go with....

My Bach Stradivarius trumpet :)  I <3 that trumpet and really really really wish I was able to play it in my apartment.  I think I am going to look into one of those silent mute systems with head phones that way I can keep playing :)

Best weekend EVER :)

So I had a few days off last week.  It was a nice much needed break from work.  I got to spend time with family and friends and had a blast.

Thursday was my mom's birthday.  We made her a cake and took it to her at work.  Had a nice dinner and gave her a wii for her birthday.  It was a lot of fun :)

Friday night was spent at the Hardware Bar for a friend's birthday. 

We were waiting for the time to come to leave...

Over the weekend, some friends came over.  We had a new drink called Zombie- I wasn't a huge fan lol

We also found a recipe for AMAZING chocolate peanut butter chip cookies.  That recipe will be shared in my other blog. :)

We also made some quesadillas for dinner.  Amanda did a good job chopping up the peppers!

After dinner a shot of jameson was in order...

It was then time to play some Wii!

Amanda and Joe were fencing...

Amanda won..and Joe of course had to bow down haha

Kim got so excited she accidently smacked herself in the face :(  I completley understand.  Wii fencing is amazing and each time I do it I'm afraid I'm going to smack my TV...

Today was back to work...and also a snow day!  I'd kindly like to remind people again, that it's February and it's not supposed to be 70 degrees...so get over yourselves...Thanks :)

Day 6 - A picture of a person you'd love to trade places with for a day.

SURPRISE!!!! The person I'd love to trade places with...is ME ha!  Acutally, I really had a hard time answering this question because I am happy with who I am.  The only thing I'm particularly unhappy with currently is my job.

Day 5- A Picture of your favorite memory...

Ugh....this photo is hard.  I can't decide on just ONE favorite memory...so I am modifying it!  A picture of a few of my favorite memories :)

First memory!  Teaching dance and of course performing :) I really wish I could still teach and dance...but thanks to my work schedule I can't do that right now :(  I really miss it.

Next favorite memory is spending time with my duck Squeak!  He was one of the coolest pets ever :) (Don't tell Tucker I said that...)

Third favorite!  Spending time with my family :) They are crazy and fun.

Fourth favorite memory!  Hanging out with my bird White-Face.  He's definitely a goober but he's fun and always knows just "what" to say haha.

Fifth favorite memory would have to include various days spent at the PA Ren Faire!!!

Sixth favorite memory belongs to spending time with Mike's and my friends!

Seventh favorite memory (Oh and these memories are in no particular order lol) Seeing my brother graduate!

Eighth favorite...visiting the Kennedy Space Center!

And last but certainly not least- when Amanda and I had our sleep over at Ryan and Joe's apartment...we were house sitting...and hiding rolls of toilet paper in various locations lol...



Early Valentine's Day!

So because Valentine's Day falls on a work day, Mikeface and I decided that we would do Valentines today :)

                    I went to sit down at my computer this morning to find a PUPPY!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! :)

Mikeface also got me some Valentine's Pez :)

The bear was hugging a heart shapped box full of Reeces Peanut Butter cups lol but Mike wanted to desparately get them in the freezer.

We went to Giant and picked up some food to make for dinner and seen the cool sunset...so here are some pictures

The sunset pictures came out kind of blurry but it was going away fast and I couldn't find the right setting on my camera :( haha Oh well, you get the idea!
